Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) benchmark index opened Tuesday in green, as it rose 0.21% or 4.26 points to reach the level of 2,034.33 points.
Trading value came to JOD 6.27 million through 1,580 trades on 3.15 million shares.
The high prices of 32 shares triggered the index’s rise, while 29 other shares moved down.
Al Amal headed the gainers with a rise of 7.46%, followed by Al Eqbal Investment Company with an increase of 5.29%.
Hayat Pharmaceutical Industries, however, topped the losers with a drop of 5.63%, followed by Amad Investment and Real Estate Development after going 4.5% down.
ASE main index closed Monday with a leap of 0.35% or 7.17 points, reaching the level of 2,030.03 points.
