Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s main index closed Sunday with a rise of 0.33% or 7.06 points to the level of 2,147 points.
Turnover increased to JOD 10.9 million from JOD 7.7 million on Thursday, trading volume reached 12.7 shares exchanged through 4,460 trades.
The financial, industrial and services sectors were the top performers after adding 0.4%, 0.34% and 0.03%, respectively.
The index was supported by the increasing prices of 56 traded shares, out of 139, while 43 other closed down.
Jordan Poultry Processing topped gainers as it grew 5.00%, while Middle East Specialised Cables Company was the weakest share after dropping 6.25%.
The main index inched up 0.04% or 0.92 points on Thursday, reaching the level of 2,139.94 points.
