Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) main index kicked off the week in red, as it slid 0.48% or 10.26 points to 2,111.41 points.
Turnover declined to JOD 7.9 million from JOD 10.3 million Thursday, trading volume reached 9.4 million shares which were exchanged through 4,720 trades.
The services sector was down 0.7% and the financial and industrial sectors decreased 0.45% and 0.26%, respectively.
The index was affected by the falling prices of 73 shares, out of 137, while the other 30 closed higher.
Arab Company For Investment Projects was the worst performing share after dropping 5.88%, while Amad Investment and Real Estate Development was the best performer as it rose7.33%.
The index closed Thursday with a fall of 0.2% or 4.09 points to 2,121.67 points.
