Kuwait-Mubasher: Aqar Real Estate Investments said that the extraordinary trading activity on the company’s shares witnessed on 17 January was due to the purchase of 11 million treasury shares which represented 4.69%, Aqar said in a bourse statement.
Aqar clarified that after the after the purchase deal, the company’s treasury shares now total 22.28 million or 9.5%.
The stock rose on Sunday to 80 fils after 11 million shares were exchanged with a value of about KWD 881,340.
