Arab Drug Q2 profit soars 271%

Cairo – Mubasher: Arab Drug Company reported on Tuesday a rise of 270.6% in profits for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016-2017 to EGP 6.3 million, versus EGP 1.7 million for Q2-15/16.

In the first half of the fiscal year 2016/17, profits grew 292.3% to EGP 10.2 million from EGP 2.68 million for the same half of fiscal 2015/16.

Revenues rose in the first half of fiscal 2016/17 by 32.6% to EGP 162.2 million, compared to EGP 122.3 million for the first half of fiscal 2015/16, according to a bourse filing.
