Cairo – Mubasher: Arab Drug reported a 392% profit increase during July-October 2016, according to a bourse filing.
The Company earned EGP 7.18 million, compared with EGP 1.46 million for the year-ago period.
Net sales stood at EGP 96.26 million during the first four months of the present fiscal year, compared with EGP 79 million for the year-ago period.
The board of directors approved buying 10 tonnes of ethyl alcohol at EGP 460,000, the filing revealed.
In the first quarter, the company’s profit jumped 299% to EGP 3.9 million.
The stock quote closed 3.07% higher to EGP 7.05 on Tuesday.
