Arab Health, Medlab Middle East support Dubai economy with AED 756 million in 2020

UAE - Mubasher: Arab Health and Medlab Middle East, the largest exhibitions for the healthcare and laboratory industry in MENA, have supported the Dubai economy with more than AED 756 million in 2020.

Both exhibitions generated over AED 3.7 billion worth of business during the 2020 editions, up 3.7% year-on-year (YoY), according to a press release on Wednesday.

Through direct and indirect spending from visitors and exhibitors, the exhibitions also injected over AED 389 million into the Dubai economy.

This year's editions will be held on 21-24 June at the Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring speeches, roundtable discussions, industry briefings, product demos, and networking opportunities.

The Executive Vice President for Informa Markets, Wouter Molman, said: "Our exhibitions are not only conducive to generating deals amongst participants; they also have a huge impact on the local economy and support industries such as tourism and hospitality, F&B, and aviation. We are all truly ‘United by Business’”, he added.
