Arabia Investments Q2 profits plunge 87%

Cairo – Mubasher: Arabia Investments, Development and Financial Investment Holding reported a 87% decline in its profits for the second quarter of 2016, according to the unconsolidated financial results.

Q2 profits went down to EGP 4.2 million, compared with EGP 32.5 million for the prior-year quarter.

Over the first six months, the company profits plummeted 67% year-on-year to EGP 11.55 million from EGP 34.98 million, the unconsolidated results revealed.

In the first quarter, the company logged EGP 32.81 losses, compared with EGP 5.35 million for Q1-15.
