Arabtec Construction wins AED 1bn contract

Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Properties Group has awarded Arabtec Construction AED 1.025 billion contract to establish Villanova complex.

The deal includes establishing the two phases of the project namely Amaranta and La Quinta Phases and building a residential community which includes villas and townhouses, according to a statement on Thursday to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

Arabtec Construction is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arabtec Holding.

Emirates Falcon Electromechanical Co (EFECO) will implement the project’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works.

EFECO is 100%-owned subsidiary of Arabtec Holding.

The project’s implementation will start immediately and it will last for 28 months.

Villanova complex is located near to Emirates Road, between Al Ain Road and Al Qudra.

“Villanova displays influences of Mediterranean architecture with the use of columns, arches, textured facades and slanted roofs with spacious units,” the statement added.

“We look forward to working on the Villanova Project and to developing our relationship with Dubai Properties. This contract reflects the Group’s ability to deliver projects tailored to our client’s requirements,” Arabtec’s CEO Hamish Tyrwhitt said.
