Arabtec shares lose 0.68%, after new CEO picked

Dubai – Mubasher: Arabtec on Tuesday continued its negative performance for the second consecutive day in Dubai Financial Market (DFM) following the company’s announcement of appointing a new acting chief cxecuting officer (CEO).  

The company’s share dropped by 0.68% to AED 1.150. Trading volume reached 15 million shares valued at AED 17.35 million as 281 trades were closed.

Arabtec, the biggest construction company in the United Arab Emirates, earlier today appointed Saeed Al-Mehairbi as a new acting CEO in lieu of Mohamed Al-Fahim.

The company’s board of directors, in a meeting held on Monday, accepted the resignation of Mohamed Al-Fahim from his position.
