Arabtec unit wins AED 250m deal from Emaar

Dubai - Mubasher: Arabtec Holding on Sunday announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Emirates Falcon Electromechanical Co (EFECO), has signed a contract with the Turkish TAV Tepe Akfen Construction to execute an AED 250 million project which was awarded by Emaar Properties.

The deal will cover the implementation of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work for Tower A2 and A3 of with a common basement Plot A in the Opera District in Downtown Dubai, Arabtec highlighted in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

The total number of apartments amounts to 809 over a built-up area of 2.35 million square feet, the Emirati leading contractor added, pointing out that the project works are set to commence in January 2018 for 34 months.

In December, Dubai Properties Group awarded Arabtec Construction, a subsidiary of Arabtec, an AED 1.025 billion contract to establish Villanova complex.

In November, Arabtec Holding posted that its wholly owned subsidiary, Target Engineering Construction Company (Target), won a new project at a value of AED 950 million.
