Dubai – Mubasher: Arabtec Holding said that its wholly owned subsidiary Arabtec Construction has been awarded an AED 363 million contract for the construction of the Dubai South Mall, according to a bourse filing.
The subsidiary was awarded this project by the joint venture (JV) between Emaar Properties and Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Dubai South Mall will have a built up area of approximately 83,000 square metres.
The mall will be located in Dubai South which is a 145-square kilometre city on Dubai’s southern border that encompasses Al Maktoum International Airport, the Expo 2020 site, and a major logistics district.
Work at the mall will commence this month, the company added in a statement.
