Arabtec wins AED 366m project in Egypt’s Marassi

Dubai – Mubasher: Arabtec Holding said that its fully-owned subsidiary, Arabtec for Construction, was awarded a contract worth AED 366 million (EGP 1.608 billion) in the Greek Village by Emaar Misr for Development to build 42 townhouses, in addition to 18 residential buildings and seven bungalows, in line supporting infrastructure and landscaping.

Situated in Egypt’s North Coast, the Greek Village marks the first of Marassi’s six phases that will be developed by Emaar Misr, truly offering a Greek living experience in the heart of Egypt through a Santorini architecture style, said a press release on Tuesday.

The works of the 36-month contract will start immediately, the company noted.

Commenting on the contract, Arabtec Holding Group CEO, Peter Pollard, said, “We are excited to be working on the Greek Village and building on our relationship with Emaar Misr, which is consistent with our strategy to selectively build a solid pipeline regionally with longstanding, quality clients.”
