Riyadh – Mubasher: State-run Saudi Aramco has signed a long-term deal with the Chinese Zhejiang Rongsheng to supply crude oil, informed sources revealed.
The world's largest oil producer will supply oil to the company’s new refinery in eastern China, sources told Reuters.
The Middle Eastern oil giant did not reveal further details concerning the volume and grades that will be supplied to the Chinese firm.
In August, Zhejiang Petrochemical, 51% owned by textile giant Rongsheng Holding Group, was awarded a quota to import 5 million tonnes of crude oil.
Moreover, it plans to start up its 400,000-barrels per day refinery-petrochemical project in eastern China by the end of 2018.
