Aramco, SABIC called to merge petrochemical lines – Paper

 

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) has submitted a proposal to the Saudi Cabinet to merge petrochemical operations for Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Aramco) and Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC), Makkah newspaper reported on Thursday.

SABIC has stronger and long-term experience than Aramco in this field, whereas Aramco will be entering it for the first time, the newspaper cited RCJY as saying.

The proposal has been handed to the Cabinet’s experts committee for study.
