Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia and the UAE owned about 13.8 million barrels of crude oil by the end of November 2017 in Japan’s semi-national inventories unchanged from a month earlier, the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy said on Monday.
“The Japanese government lends crude storage capacity for free to state-owned Saudi Aramco and Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC), under which they can store up to 14.47 million barrels,” according to Reuters.
Saudi Aramco has been storing its crude for free in Okinawa since February 2011.
