Riyadh – Mubasher: Overall work required from Saudi Aramco for its initial public offering (IPO) will be completed in the second half of 2018, CEO Amin Nasser said on Thursday.
The bourse which will host the listing of the world's largest oil producer and “the rest is a job for the shareholder”, Reuters reported, citing Nasser as saying.
On Wednesday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman started his visit to the UK and the US, which could shape the decision on the venue of listing the state-owned crude producer.
The bourses of London and New York are among the stock exchanges that may host the international leg of the IPO, in addition to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
