Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Aramco has started establishing a pipeline to transfer gas to its plants in Al Hawiyah, from Madrakah.
At 2,700 kilometres in length, the pipeline is set to provide 290 million cubic feet of associated petroleum gas (APG) on a daily basis, according to Al-Hayat newspaper.
Aramco in collaboration with a Chinese oil firm have collaboratively built the free flow pipeline.
The project includes pipelines for transferring gas to a plant in Al Hawiyah from Madrakah, main delivery pipes, valve stations, and a sorting plant for liquids in South Harad.
This project is a part of Aramco’s strategy to diversify its energy sources through raising gas supplies in the coming decade.
