Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Aramco on Wednesday signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with domestic and global companies worth at least SAR 39 billion ($10.4 billion).
The largest part of the signed agreements was part of an initiative to encourage the local industry, Reuters reported, citing Aramco as saying.
Aramco also signed an SAR 6 billion deal with US-based drilling and oil service specialist Schlumberger.
On Tuesday, Aramco signed 13 MoUs with an estimated value of SAR 6.3 billion ($1.68 billion) with several local and global companies as a part of its expansion strategy in the Kingdom. Aramco is looking to manufacture most of its products locally.
