Riyadh – Mubasher: Pakistan’s Ministry of Petroleum has said that state-run Saudi Aramco has initially agreed to begin investing in an oil refinery in the Asian country’s deep-water port of Gwadar.
Pakistan State Oil will team up with the world's largest oil producer in the project, the Pakistani Petroleum Minister told Reuters.
“We sat down and held initial discussions with them and it was principally decided by both sides that it will be a government-to-government agreement,” Ghulam Sarwar Khan noted.
The Pakistani official further indicated that any details regarding this investment will be announced later.
