Aramco nods to issue $10bn bonds – Minister

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Arabian Oil Co, known internationally as Saudi Aramco, on Sunday has said that it will issue dollar-denominated bonds worth up to $10 billion over the coming period, the kingdom’s energy minister said.

Khalid al-Falih’s statement came on the sidelines of Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum in Abu Dhabi.

The Saudi official earlier stated that the world's largest oil producer was planning to issue Eurobonds in 2019.

On Wednesday, 9 January, Aramco unveiled plans to issue US dollar-dominated bonds in the second quarter of 2019.
