Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Aramco on Wednesday said it does not plan to invest in gas in the U.S., said the Saudi minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, and Aramco's chairman, Khalid Al-Falih.
Aramco’s interest in gas projects abroad the Kingdom will be in Africa, or likely in Mediterranean countries, Reuters reported, citing Al-Falih as saying in a conference in Abu Dhabi.
Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) plans to implement some investments in the U.S., Al-Falih added.
By the end of October, SABIC’s CEO, Yousef Al Benyan stated that the company is interested in some acquisitions in the U.S., China, and Africa.
