Aramco plans maintenance at Jubail refinery in Q1-18

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Aramco Total Refining And Petrochemical’s (SATORP) refinery in Jubail will be subject to previously-scheduled maintenance works during the first quarter of 2018, number of merchants said on Wednesday.

The refinery was likely to shut down some secondary units from mid-January until mid-February to implement the maintenance works, Reuters cited the merchants.

The refinery’s capacity is 400,000 barrels per day (bpd), and closing it will likely to reduce its operating ratios.

SATORP is a subsidiary of the largest oil firm in the world, Saudi Aramco.
