Aramco’s IPO likely slotted for 2019

Riyadh - Mubasher: The initial public offering (IPO) of Saudi Aramco, the world’s biggest oil company, will most likely be held next year, according to the Saudi minister of energy, industry and mineral resources, Khalid Al-Falih.

The delay in the IPO has been now confirmed, after it was reported back in March that it could be moved to 2019.

The Saudi Arabian Oil Company could raise up to $100 billion by selling 5% of its shares, as part of the efforts by the kingdom’s government to diversify the economy.
