Aramco’s oil pipelines investors could sell $4bn bonds in Q4

Riyadh – Mubasher: A consortium led by EIG Global Energy Partners that earlier acquired equity in Saudi Arabian Oil Company’s (Aramco) oil pipelines could be preparing to issue at least $4 billion in bonds during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2021.

Selling the bonds aims to refinance a loan that largely funded the $12.4 billion deal, Reuters reported.

The bonds are expected to be refinanced across two or three transactions, with the first sale deal likely to take place in Q1-22.

Last June, a group of investors that included UAE-based Mubadala and EIG closed a $12.4 billion worth of share sale and purchase agreement with Aramco.
