Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek Al-Molla said Monday that the Saudi Aramco informed the government about suspending oil supplies to Egypt, unless otherwise notified.
“There are no updates about the Saudi suspension of its oil supply agreement”, Al-Molla told Mubasher on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC).
The minister also rebutted news reports that he paid a visit to Iran on Sunday to have new oil deals after Saudi Arabia suspended its oil agreement last month.
Earlier, Reuters reported that the minister paid a visit to Iran on Sunday to have new oil deals after Saudi Arabia suspended its oil agreement last month, clarifying that Al-Molla is to meet several senior Iranian officials to discuss the possibility of managing oil supplies from Tehran.
