Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Oil Co, known globally as Saudi Aramco, has begun supplying crude oil to Egyptian refineries since November, said Egypt’s Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek El Molla on Sunday.
Aramco supplied Egypt with 1 million barrels of crude oil in November and December, Reuters reported, citing El Molla as saying.
“Egypt and Saudi Arabia will be studying the economic feasibility of continuing to refine Saudi crude in Egyptian refineries by the start of 2018,” the oil minister added.
In April, the Kingdom approved providing Egypt with 700,000 tonnes of refined oil products on monthly basis for five years.
