Riyadh – Mubasher: Increasing gas supply will enable Aramco to transfer more crude oil to other products, such as petrochemicals, Aramco’s CEO Amin Nasser said.
Nasser added during the unofficial meeting of the Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB) that larger supply will have a great impact on a number of sectors, including small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to be in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Aramco’s CEO noted that King Salman Global Maritime Industries Complex will enable the company to build tankers and manufacture engines in Saudi Arabia, in addition to the utilisation of solar and wind energies to generate electricity.
Vision 2030 targets generating 9.5 gigawatts of electricity through renewable energy resources, which will provide more economic opportunities, Nasser pinpointed.
