Cairo – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Oil Co, known globally as Saudi Aramco, has approved supplying Egyptian refineries with crude oil for six months, starting from January 2018, Egypt's petroleum minister Tarek El-Molla said.
The Middle Eastern oil giant will supply the North African nation's refineries with about 500,000 barrels per month of crude oil until next June, Reuters reported, citing the minister as saying.
In mid-December, El-Molla announced that the Saudi crude producer started to supply Egyptian refineries with crude oil.
In April 2017, Saudi Arabia approved supporting the Arab world's most populous country with 700,000 tonnes of refined oil products for five years.
