Aramco to trim oil exports to Asia in January – Ministry

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Aramco plans to reduce exports of crude oil cargoes to Asia by more than 100,000 barrels per day (bpd) in January, compared to December, Said the Saudi Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources on Monday.

Exports to the U.S. and Europe will remain unchanged, the ministry added.

“For January 2018, Saudi Aramco is keeping supply steady to all regions at 2017 lows,” Reuters reported, citing the Saudi ministry as saying.

“Aramco will maintain its overall supply levels next month at their recent low levels,” the agency added.

Earlier on Monday, a Saudi informed source in the oil sector said that the Kingdom plans to remain exports in January 2018 at 6.9 million bpd.
