Aramco unit hires staff in Singapore

Riyadh – Mubasher: The trading arm of Saudi Aramco is aspiring to increase its team in the Singapore office, while it seeks promoting activity in the regional energy hub, Reuters reported Thursday.

The agency added that the office aims to hire from 10 to 15 employees by the end of this year after starting the office operation with one person late 2015. The employment will include staff in operations, analysis, and administrative works.

"The main aim is for employees to support trading activities of the head office in Saudi Arabia," a source told Reuters, adding that the office may expand in trading beyond refined oil products and chemicals.
