Aramex, EG-Gate ink supply services MoU

Dubai – Mubasher: Aramex has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian company EG-Gate to double and boost the volume of Egyptian exports.

Upon the agreement, the Dubai-based logistics firm will provide EG-Gate with supply services, whether locally or internationally, Al Bayan Newspaper reported.

Samer Gharaibeh, CEO of Aramex in Africa, said that the company aims at doubling its investments in Egypt.

The Emirati courier had posted that investments in its Tanzanian unit have increased by 10% in the first quarter of 2018 to reach 93%.

Aramex previously announced its full exit from its unit in Botswana, recording a profit of AED 811,000 from the unit during Q1-18, compared to losses worth AED 86,000 in Q1-17, according to Al Khaleej Newspaper.
