Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai-based logistics firm Aramex said on Sunday that Tariq bin Hendi resigned from its board, according to a bourse statement.
Bin Hendi submitted a resignation letter on 3 August for personal reasons.
This resignation came after Aramex posted a 23% year-on-year decline in its profits to AED 97 million ($26.4 million) during the second quarter of 2017, compared to AED 125.7 million ($34.2 million) in Q2-16.
However, profits fell 15% to AED 188.7 million in the first half of 2017 from AED 222.5 million in the prior-year period.
