Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Arkan Building Materials reported a 10% year-on-year increase in net profit during the first quarter of 2018, registering AED 11.7 million.
The company’s revenue soared 10% to AED 251 million in Q1-18 versus AED 228.3 million a year earlier, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, cost of finance dropped 9% year-on-year in the first three months of 2018.
In March, Arkan’s deputy chairman Ahmed Suhail Al Muhairi stated that it has plans to expand in Eastern Asia – including Manila and Hong Kong – Central Africa, and GCC countries.
