Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Arkan Building Materials Company is focusing on expansion in Eastern Asia – including Manila and Hong Kong – Central Africa and GCC countries, deputy chairman Ahmed Suhail Al Muhairi stated.
Arkan has kept a foothold in the market, which enables it to increase its market share and utilise any investment opportunities, Al Bayan newspaper reported, citing Al Muhairi as saying.
The Abu Dhabi-based company seeks to maximise profits through the diversification of its activities, he noted.
Despite the challenges faced Arkan in 2017, the firm saw a positive year, reporting an AED 30.2 million net profit, the top official revealed.
