Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Arkan Building Materials achieved a growth of 0.8% in profits of the first quarter in 2016 as compared to the same period in 2015, according to a recent statement.
The UAE firm reported AED 30.73 million ($8.37 million) profits in Q1-16, compared to AED 30.50 million ($8.30 million) in Q1-15.
Earnings per share increased to AED 0.018 from AED 0.017 in Q1-15.
Arkan’s revenues decreased 3.5% to AED 212.3 million ($57.80 million) in Q1-16, from AED 220.1 million ($59.92 million) in Q1-15.
