Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Arkan Building Material’s general assembly approved the board’s proposal to distribute cash dividends worth AED 43.75 million for the full-year 2018 during a meeting held on Monday.
Dividends represent 2.5% of the company’s capital, according to a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
It is worth noting that the company posted a 74% year-on-year hike in net profit for the year ended 31 December 2018.
Net profits amounted to AED 52.4 million in 2018, compared to AED 30.2 million a year earlier.
