Mubasher: Asian stock markets ended Tuesday’s session with mixed performances, amid a rise in yen against dollar by 0.2% and a decline in oil prices.
Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.9% to the level of 16,498 points, and the broader TOPIX index retreated 0.9% to 1,326 points.
In China, the Shanghai composite index declined 0.8%, while India’s benchmark BSE sensex rose 0.11%.
