Mubasher: Asian markets saw a positive performance, in line with the rise of Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Australian stocks.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 rose 0.59%, while the broader Topix index increased 0.7%. In addition, the BSE Sensex levelled up 0.06%.
The Shanghai composite index climbed 0.14%, whereas the Hang Seng index retreated 0.07%.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) went up 0.15%.
