Mubasher: Asian stocks closed Thursday’s trading on a positive note amid a recovery in global stock markets.
Japan’s Nikkei rose 3.2% to the level of 16,911 points, the highest level since two weeks, the broader TOPIX index also leapt by 2.9% to 1,371 points.
Japanese stocks affected positively by the fall in yen against dollar by 0.05%, as U.S. dollar rose to 109.3 yens according to data by Market Watch.
Meanwhile, India’s Sensex index advanced 1.91% to 25,626.7 points, while China’s Shanghai leapt 0.49% to 3,081.7 points.
Asian markets closed Wednesday’s sessions with mixed performance, as Japanese stocks ended in red while the Chinese closed in the green zone.
