Dubai-Mubasher: Asian stocks extended their downward trend on Friday, pressured by China's negative economic data and decline in yuan.
Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.61% to 3,434.58 points, its lowest since 4 November. Hang Seng moved 1.11% lower.
India's SENSEX Index shed 0.81%, while Singapore index slid 0.47%. Asia Dow index also dropped 0.80%.
On the other hand, Japan's Nikkei rose 0.96% to 19,230.
