Kuwait – Mubasher: Asiya Capital Investments Co has deepened its losses by 3252% in the first quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period in 2015.
Asiya’s losses reached KWD 2.38 million ($7.9 million) in Q1-16 versus KWD 71,000 ($235,300) in Q1-15, according to a bourse filing issued Thursday.
The company clarified that the higher losses were due to the stock markets’ downward performance.
