Kuwait – Mubasher: Asiya Capital Investments Co. achieved KWD 1.66 million ($5.5 million) losses in the second quarter of 2016 against KWD 2.65 million ($8.78 million) profits in Q2-15.
The company's losses reached KWD 4.04 million in the first half of 2016 versus KWD 2.58 million profits in the year-ago period.
The decrease in the company's results is due to the declining trend in the equity market, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
