Asmak profits up 1.55% in Q1

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The International Fish Farming Holding Company (Asmak) on Thursday announced that net profits increased 1.55% in the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter in 2016, according to a bourse filing.

Net profits amounted to AED 12.64 million ($3.44 million), compared to AED 12.45 million ($3.4 million) in Q1-16.

The company’s revenues declined 4.4% to AED 94.61 million in the first three months of 2017, compared to AED 98.9 million in the same period last year.

Selling costs decreased by 5.9% to AED 77 million in Q1-17, compared to AED 81.8 million in Q1-16.
