Kuwait – Mubasher: Awj Holding achieved net profits worth about KWD 75,100 ($248,800) during the second quarter of 2016 versus losses of nearly KWD 193,900 ($642,300) in the same period a year ago.
During the first half this year, earnings reached nearly KWD 81,400 as compared to about KWD 119,600 in the same period of 2015; a drop of 32%, according to a bourse statement issued Sunday.
The decrease in H1 earnings resulted from lower profits from the sale of real estate investments in 2016 as well as losses from revaluation of investment properties.
