B Investments Holding's profit soars 66% in 2020; dividends proposed

Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits of B Investments Holding surged by 66.2% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 287.9 million in 2020, compared to EGP 173.23 million.

The losses attributable to minority interests reached EGP 797,460 last year, against net profits of EGP 524,259 in 2019, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.

In total, the company logged net profits of EGP 287.1 million in 2020, compared to EGP 173.76 million a year earlier.

The revenues rose to EGP 370.26 million last year from EGP 230.6 million in 2019.

As for standalone business, the company posted net profits of EGP 222.66 million in 2020, compared to EGP 68.49 million in 2019.

The board of directors proposed a cash dividend of EGP 1.25 per share or a total value of EGP 200 million for 2020.

During the first nine months of 2020, B Investments Holding achieved net profits of EGP 153.55 million, up from EGP 142.74 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
