B.TECH to inject EGP 350m into Egypt in 2019

Cairo – Mubasher: B.TECH, an Egypt-based retailer for electronics and home appliances, is looking to invest EGP 350 million into the Egyptian market this year, the company’s chairman said on Sunday.

The Egyptian company has invested over EGP 200 million in the local market in 2018, Mahmoud Khattab added in a press conference.

The company’s sales jumped by 26% last year, Khattab indicated, projecting e-commerce sales to grow by 75% in 2019.

He further noted that B.TECH aims to offer more than 900 jobs.
