Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Wednesday’s open by 0.44% or 5.10 points to the level of 1,166.35 points.
Turnover reached BHD 39,030 by 09:50am Manama time, as 92,730 shares were exchanged through 12 transactions.
The commercial banks sector rose by 0.92% as Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) leapt 8.33%.
National Bank of Bahrain led the trading activity with a volume of 16,520 shares were exchanged at BHD 11,560.
