Riyadh – Mubasher: Basic Chemical Industries (BCI) posted SAR 10.1 million ($2.69 million) in net profit for the first quarter of 2016, a surge of 261% from SAR 105.39 million ($.773 million) in same quarter last year.
The chemical firm said the profit rise was triggered by a decline in costs of sales by 3%, in addition to a decrease in general and administrative expenses.
