The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed in the red zone on Tuesday, after three consecutive sessions in rise.
The index lost 0.16% or 1.97 points to close at 1,202.43 points, while Bahrain Islamic index retreated 0.68% or 5.56 points to reach 806.87 points.
The industrial sector headed the decliners by 0.53%, as Alba fell by 0.72%.
The investment sector leveled down 0.32%, after GFH lost 8.6% to lead the losers.
BHB’s banks sector inched down 0.10%, dragged down by Al Salam Bank and AUB which fell by 1.06% and 0.72% respectively.
Today’s trading value amounted to about BHD 355,100 after trading volume reached nearly KWD 740,960 shares.
AUB was the most active stock on which around 409,000 shares were traded through 12 transactions, with a value of BHD 279,370.
